- Use 3 white bread slices (preferably sandwich bread)
- Take 1/2 beetroot (grated)
- Use 1/2 carrot (grated)
- Take 1 tsp tomato ketchup/imli sauce
- Use 1 tsp burger mayo/any orange colour mayo
- Take 1 tbsp Green chutney (coriander)
- Provide as needed Salted butter
Steps to make Pin wheel Sandwiches:
- Take a small bowl, add grated carrot to it, now add buger mayo to it. Mix it well with a spoon & keep it aside.
- Take another bowl, add grated beetroot to it, now add imli sauce or tomato ketchup to it. Mix them well & keep it aside.
- Now take 3 slices of bread, cut their edges. Roll each of the slices with the help of belan and make the slices flat. Now apply butter on 2 slices of bread on ech side seperately. Don't put butter on the second side.
- Now take that slice without butter & add the beetroot mixture to it. Spread it evenly on the bread surface. Now take the second slice & put carrot mixture over it & spread it well. The butter part should be on the back-hand side. Now place it over the beetroot slice. Now the third, I.e. the last slice, apply coriander chutney over it & spread it eventually too.
- Now put that slice over the carrot-one, remember, again the butter part should be facing downward that means you should apply chutney on the opposite side. Now together, press them and roll very gently. Tie the roll with a cling wrap neatly & keep it in refrigerator for about half an hour to set.
- After half an hour, remove the cling wrap, the roll will set automatically. Now horizontally cut them into slices….it would look like swiss-roll. Your pin-wheel sandwiches are ready to serve. And a good thing is that, since it has mayo, chutney & sauces to it, you don't need any sauces or dips seperately.
