There are more and more campaigns to try to get people to follow a healthier lifestyle and all the same it is also easier than ever to rely on fast, convenient food that is very bad for our health. People typically think that healthy diets demand a great deal of work and will significantly alter the way they live and eat. Contrary to that information, people can change their eating habits for the better by making a few modest changes.
One initial thing you can do is to pay close attention to the choices you make when you’re at the grocery because you probably pick out lots of items out of habit. As an example, if you eat cereal for your breakfast, do you ever stop to see what the sugar and salt content is before getting it? A good healthy option can be porridge oats which have been shown to be good for your heart and can give you good sustainable energy each day. We hope you got benefit from reading it, now let’s go back to baba ganoush recipe. You can have baba ganoush using 6 ingredients and 4 steps. Here is how you do that.
The ingredients needed to make Baba Ganoush:
- Use 3 Eggplants
- Provide 1/2 Lemon , juiced
- You need 1/2 Cup Tahini
- Provide 1 Clove Garlic
- Get To Taste Cayenne
- Use To Taste Salt
Instructions to make Baba Ganoush:
- Preheat your oven to 350. Take a fork and poke the eggplant a few times (like you would a baked potato). Turn on your gas burner and place the eggplant directly on top of the flame. Turn the eggplant to make sure each side gets charred evenly (this gives it the smoky flavor).
- Place your charred eggplants in the oven on a parchment-lined cookie sheet for 20-40 minutes until they are completely soft. Remove from the oven and let cool.
- Cut open the eggplants and scoop out the insides. Blend your eggplant, lemon juice, salt, garlic, tahini, and cayenne until smooth. Garnish with parsley and more cayenne.
- You can use this as a dip or even make open-faced baba ganoush sandwiches (like I did) topped with sliced cucumbers, tomatoes, and parsley. YUM.
